Beaches and Bluebells

The Bluebells are beginning to blush in the fields below the house.  Banks and knolls, once covered with Bracken, are thick with Bluebells again this year.  Every year I expect them to not be as strong as they like shade (previously provided by the Bracken) but so far they just keep on blushing.

I quickly flew the drone before breakfast as it was sunny and the forecast was for change later.  The light was very strong, so I am struggling to get the colour balance right.  The blue seems much stronger when viewed with the naked eye!

We heard a Cuckoo again this morning.  Hopefully it means we have at least one back on the farm.  I feel very sad at the thought that they are being killed on their migratory flights to the breeding grounds, and that one year we might stop hearing and seeing them here.

Now, for whats left of the afternoon, more Aerodynamics.
