Back up Blip....

A busy one today so it’s another cow and calf emergency Blip tonight .
This cow had just calved when I checked them at 5.30 this morning , so left her alone to bond with her baby in peace.
A day of sitting around St Johns hospital at Livingston while Junior underwent an op under general anaesthetic . He’s now home again and no worse for wear.
You can say what you like about the NHS , but you can’t fault the staff. It was the same nurses who where there when we arrived at 8am that were still on shift when we left at 7.30 tonight. A long day for not a huge wage no doubt- almost like being a farmer !
