My five hour trip from D.C. To Connecticut turned into seven and a half hours because of 10 mph traffic throughout the Saturday foray. It was all worth it to get to the house and see the tree bursting with presents (even if they weren't for me). The takeaway: the journey justifies the destination! Family, fun and good times
