Calypso Orchid photographers

The delicate Calypso Orchid  (see extra) was a primary delight during our hike along Dog River in the Mt. Hood National Forest, along with a hillside of blue Larkspur, bright red Flowering Currant bushes, Solomon's Seal and a host of other evanescent spring wildflowers. A cobalt blue sky provided a backdrop to snow covered Mt. Hood, and the wind sang through Ponderosa pine and Douglas Fir. We delighted in our good fortune and appreciated a respite from the news.
