Lady Bug

This morning started out walking to the pool to swim a few laps before breakfast. The iris are beginning to bloom and my neighbors iris made for a nice photo (see the extras). 
We worked in our garden after breakfast in preparation for getting some additional dirt to supplement the soil so the planting may begin. We cleared out 2 raised beds and trimmed up the blackberry vines. 
As we were pulling weeds a Stellar Jay showed up looking for unearthed grubs. (see extra photo) 
The dogs enjoyed a romp at the dog park this afternoon. I must say we had a lovely day!
