Gubbles by Max

This afternoon Max and I met Gulliver in Kingston and went to Kingston College to have another look around the music course with the head of the department Caroline Hall, I thought it was important to have a look around and get to ask more questions and get a feel for the place, he has been offered places at 2 music colleges and also has an option to stay on where he is and do double music and one other A-level, he likes where he is and he likes his music teacher, but there is no doubt that he will have much more opportunity at Kingston, they have amazing facilities, five expert staff teaching the course, they put on gigs, they have recording studios and lots of rehearsal spaces not to mention a lot more students on the course. If he stays at Teddington he will have one teacher and not many peers. He is quite reserved and doesn’t like change but if he can make this leap of faith we think it will really pay off. Fingers crossed.

Gulliver’s gcses start tomorrow with Graphics, a 10 hour exam over 2 days, then it’s pretty much every day until mid June, he’s a clever boy who works hard and I’m sure he will pass everything and do very well in most subjects.

In other news I am still not well, I now have a cough and have felt very tired today.
