The dropped stitch

Wonderful mountains

A day in the Torridan Mountains.

My walking companions reel off the Gaelic names with ease and discuss beloved corries, the thrills and spills of previous climbs and the pros and cons of different routes.

I am happy to be in their company and soak up the magnificent surroundings. R and I decided to take a leisurely route back and left the others to the final steep climb.

We all have photos to show during a relaxed evening meal (the cooking shared, as we did in student days!)

A really wonderful day.
