Spoilt for choice

Today I have had the best day.
Took myself off to Arley Hall and despite it gently raining all day I spent four hours in heaven! Only saw 2 people in the gardens and woodland other than the gardeners in all that time.
The textures and colours were absorbing. The birdsong was amazing too.
They are filming in the house at the moment - a drama apparently.
And after seeing a flyer for volunteer gardeners I am going to follow that up as soon as possible!
Whole day off tomorrow too. Yay!
