Abstract Pears

A few months ago a friend (actually Ben's stepmother) was diagnosed with a very scary diagnosis. She is better but it seems to have returned. I sent her a package of pears and she sent me this abstract painting of a bowl of pears that she had painted years ago for a Christmas display.  It just happens to be the colors of my kitchen.  So it has a prominent place there.  
I've cropped it seriously to give it more of an abstract feel.
