The Aerospace Hall

At the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry. It's actually the old market buildings and the roof is clearly in a bad state of repair - some of the exhibits are draped in tarpaulin and there are buckets everywhere to collect the drips, very surreal. Elsewhere the Museum is very interesting - lots of old Mill machinery, Stephenson's (actual) Rocket and the partially renovated buildings of the original 1830 Manchester Station and adjacent warehouses. We only stopped in for a quick look on our way to look at the banners (and banana cake) in the Peoples History Museum because it was free and dry...
