A day in the life

Nearby where I live, in a small forest, two brothers has a garden. It's an amazing garden, tended to with great knowledge, love and care. You are allowed to walk around in there, many people do, even though the place is a bit of a secret. I was shown it a couple of years ago, initiated you might say, by one of the locals who knew about it. That's often the case, you are let into the garden by someone.

It's fairly large, containing four different fields where various flowers, plants and vegetables are growing. Nothing is left to chance, everything is planned and tended to in extreme detail. When I walk around in there I am in awe of their work and their respect for every detail in every growing thing. A photographer once told me he lay down on the ground to take a picture of a plant and after he stood up and continued walking around, he noticed one of the brothers gently brushing the grass where he had been laying, to make it rise up again.

There is no water in the garden. Every drop they gather from when it rains, not only from the forest, they have barrels and containers all over the village and transport them to the garden when they are full. The blip shows you one of many water supplies, there are many in the garden. Maybe you'll get an idea of the kind of order you find in there. From late May till September  or October the garden is exploding in colors from flowers and vegetables. The brothers make furniture out of roots and tree trunks, placed everywhere so you can always find a place to sit and meditate over all the beauty, made possible because two people find it interesting and rewarding to do. Not to sell, not to boast or exhibit, only because it's possible and beautiful.

Thank you.

I have earlier had pictures from the garden and I'm sure I will put more blips out from there in the future. You find an earlier blip here.
