The boats are back!

This afternoon we took Chloe along the canal and were very pleased to see a boat chugging along. The jammed bridges are now repaired and all systems are go again.
We also checked out the bluebells along the Antonine Wall. They are at their peak and are a stunning colour in the sunshine, see today's extra.
Later we went up to the University to check on the swan's nest. We were surprised to see that they had hatched out. Eight eggs were laid but there were five cygnets and one egg left over. Two missing - just don't ask!
