Neck Out

So I went for my customary blip walk with Jess the cat (she does enjoy them) and took a few shots then this bird flies up to the wall I was about to sit on then onto another part of the wall. I was fairly close and it didn't seem bothered with me taking photos. 

When we first moved here in nineteen canteen (24 years ago) I kept notes of the birds in the area every week for several years but I'd never seen this one, but my trusty RSPB book suggests it's a Wheatear, one of our earliest summer visitors from Central Africa. Amazing...
