Blip-vent Calendar 23: There's been an accident...

everyone's ok though.

I always worry a bit leaving the children with grandparents when they go for a meal,usually because of B's peanut allergy. Got home to 'there's been at accident' at 1am this morning after our Christmas Do last night. They went to the carvery at the end of the road, B was at the hotplate when according to H there was a terrifying bang and the glass shelf above slid off across the top of his head. The staff rushed across to grab it, so lucky it didn't hit him in the face, drop on his feet or smash the hotplate. Accident forms were filled in, new meals given to them, and all their money given back by the manager. The in laws were still quite shaken by the incident when we got home,no cuts or lumps evident but they'd had to keep an eye on him for concussion.

My boy is so lucky,he hadn't been hurt at all, saved by all those thick wiry curls he hates so much.

Took this at 1am this morning, taxi didn't turn up, needed to take my contact lenses out, too much red wine, everything looked just like this, cosy, with a slight blur.
