P10k

Another beautiful day for the Penicuik Harriers' 10k road race. After helping with registration, I was marshalling at the same place as last year. There was still a pack at the front (after 400m) this year, and they finished closer than before, with 110 winning in about 33 minutes. This might sound slow, but the course has 160m climb, with 100m of it occurring between 1km and 2.5km. Not much for a hill runner, but the road runners seem impressed by it.
