The Last of the Blossoms

I'll say this for the long, cool, wet Spring we've had so far -- it's made all the beautiful blossoms last much longer.  These are the last of the crab apples (I think) on Boston Common.  They are starting to rain their petals down like confetti on the grass, but there are still some beautiful flowers to admire.

The Common is heaving with children this morning -- they are participating in something called "Bubble Fest", which obviously involves copious amounts of bubbles wafting around in the breeze!
