Nectar Heaven

I spent the morning researching the works of John Rutter in preparation for writing the programme for our choral concert featuring his music at the end of June (I'm ahead of the game for a change!), before doing the weekly shop.

After that, I felt a need for some fresh air and headed over to Winkworth Arboretum for a walk.  The bluebells are nearly finished, and the Azeleas are not really far behind, but this vibrate, sweet smelling example was still going strong, and the bees were getting drunk on its nectar.
