Spinach

It's happening again!

Each year, without fail, May brings about hope and joy at the silliest of things. I am still amazed and delighted to see these tiny seedlings, which I planted, sprout into life.

They offer the excitement and thrill of future plates of fresh green popeye salad. Squeals of delight at how clever we are. Satisfaction of producing nourishing food for my family- even if they don't always eat it willingly.

I'm a bloody genius. I've got this nature thing sussed. Give me £2, a packet of seeds, some soil and a few months and I am blooming deliriously blissfully happy.......And a complete bore to anyone within earshot.
