Dunscore's once-a-year symphony orchestra playing for nine lessons and carols. They started rehearsing at 7.30 this morning and when Youngest Son and I got up, the wind was roaring around the house and the roads were littered with broken branches. Looking at the news tonight, though, I see that we got off very lightly compared to some. What a horrible Christmas for those whose homes have been flooded.
