Mousie

Rescued this little critter from one of the neighbour's half grown cats. It ran off behind a bush in the flower bed and for some reason dropped the mouse - so when Matthew reported the mouse was still alive we felt we had to act rather than let the cat keep playing. We made it a nest of cut grass in a box, and left it there with a handful of sunflower hearts to try and recover - but I did warn Matthew it might not survive the ordeal.

I'm always kind of surprised we never get them in the house give we live right next to a field!
