Again and Again

See weeds

Along with lots of seaweed washed up along the shoreline today I spotted some yellow. On closer inspection I discovered it was a flower. It is shown here exactly as I found and left it.

Sometimes I have come across floral tributes alongside the pathway.

There are a few benches dedicated to loved ones in the more populated parts of my walk which sometimes have flowers left at them to mark anniversaries or holidays.

Occasionally people have asked for their ashes to be scattered in the winds and tides of the river Blackwater.

However they came to be here, today I spent a moment thinking about loved ones who are no longer with me.

My other shots from the area.
