What a glorious day it was with warm sunshine and blue sky as we wandered around Rufford Old Hall in Lancashire. The Great Hall in the photo dates from 1530 with a Jacobean style addition from 1661 and a further part added in 1820 and all in the care of the National Trust. The guides were very informative and the
gardens were beautiful with bluebells and rhododendrons. It seemed a good place to relax before driving on to meet my siblings before tomorrow's Inquiry into events leading up to my father's death a few months ago.
