More birds

Our Airbnb guest took Ruadh off early in the morning and reported back on what was to be done. Plenty seems the answer.
Off then to North Uist and we saw this Corncrake performing in a very un-Corncraky manner - i.e. it was not calling from a dense and impenetrable patch of cover, usually irises, and refusing to show itself. It almost wanted to be seen and being only twenty metres from the RSPB reserve centre, one wondered if it was a trained bird....
Dotterels were looked for and another group found but not yesterday's five. A good birding day.
