The reliably spectacular cerise Peony

Never lets me down, and definitely deserves a blip moment, particularly after the brutal chopping I gave the plant last autumn. In celebration of tenacity and floral glamour and just generally providing a colourful moment at the end of a mediocre Monday, I give you...Ms Peony!

Update on dog-fang-spiked-finger - who'd've thought a  little protective cocoon on a damaged digit would have such a remarkable effect on my brain? I think with my touch-typing fingers evidently. Oh, and I have become my own faulty auto-correct - sigh! Hopefully it will heal up quickly.
