Immature bald eagle.

It is always wonderful to be back home.  This morning I was enjoying a cup of coffee on the back deck and this young eagle flew on to the branch of the dead tree!  Only way I can capture them now is if they are considerate enough to sit in the dead tree as the other trees are leafed out to much to get a clear shot.  Last night we sat on the deck as the sun went down and watched the eagles fly by, a heron was fishing on the shore and was successful, the eagles flew in and fought with the heron over the fish!  I was glad the heron finally flew away I was afraid the eagles meant business.  We also saw a cedar waxwing sitting in a fir tree but to dark for a good shot.
