Let The Festivities Begin

We had invited a few friends over this afternoon. Mince pies, mulled wine, Christmas music. Relax, chat and get into the spirit of things was the order of the afternoon.

Steph made some awesome mince pies, the whole nine yards, mincemeat homemade, pastry homemade. Bloomin' lovely!

It was great to see some friends from around the village too. Oliver had no end of little friends (only little in stature, certainly not in audible volume) and really enjoyed himself. It often sounded like there was elephants upstairs, but they really seemed to enjoy themselves, as did we downstairs chatting.
