STEAMED UP

Built-in 1947, steam locomotive 1264 is the only surviving example LNER-built Thompson Class B1. Now based at the NYMR, it is seen running into Pickering Station and then taking on water prior to pulling the 12 Noon train to Grosmont. In British Rail days it was numbered 61264 and ran in a BR Black livery with early crest.
