Cycle Cull

Not a great photo at all but interesting for non cycling nations, maybe. These bikes are from our apartment block's cycle cellars and around the building. They have been unclaimed (to claim you just remove the red tag) for six weeks and now will be given to the police. This pile is just from our block and it is done every year. Along with the bikes dredged from the canals they are sent to prisons where prisoners are taught how to repair them. Of the many, many cycle shops around, quite a few a run by ex criminals.
