Dogwood Blossoms Galore

This echoes the Cherry Blossoms Galore from the very end of our Paris stay--though today's weather was far duller--nothing new. I've been watching the Boston Bruins  versus the Carolina Hurricanes in the third game of their playoff series--0-0 after a wild first period with what seemed like dozens of shots for Carolina (they're playing at home in Raleigh NC). I saw the Bruins play at least a couple of times growing up in the Boston area; my best memory is a goal by the great Gordie Howe for Detroit--from at least 10 meters, gliding in from the right wing.
