Michael Marra

In an age when X factor / Dross Idol rules much of popular culture with its sanitised, bland version of popular music, it's great to see Michael Marra sell out the village hall in Braco and wow the audience with his quirky and entertaining show. A very life affirming evening to realise that despite the best efforts of the popular press, there are a lot of people out there who still know a good thing when they see it.

One man with a keyboard set up on an ironing board with a great line in chat; he doesn't really work so well in the studio, but live he's amazing.
