Spring Sunshine

Is it bedtime yet?! Gorgeous sunny day again in Essex and had a lovely visit to our old next door neighbours for a catch up natter over a cup of tea or two!  We were greeted by the sight of them trying to assemble a new washing line when we arrived - a new fangled contraption from Germany that was supposed to make life easier.  Well, 4 of us struggled to get this thing upright and working and even then it was very low and you couldn't have hung your sheets out on it - so they've given up on the idea  and decided to return it! Hopefully it will be easier to return than it was to get working!

A walk through the churchyard on our way home and the grass is being let grow longer round the edges - I do prefer the more natural look with all the wildflowers appearing and wish more councils would step away from having everything cut to within an inch of its' life!
