Nature's Calligraphy

The pondweed and reeds are rapidly dying back to make way for the new growth in spring.

As they die, break off or simply keel over, their reflections look like strange writing across the loch surface.

Taken at sunset on Kinghorn Loch. Still very wet everywhere.

Which leads me to apologise for the lack of blips over the previous three days - the weather has been simply @{¬*#¦*}!, which, along with Christmas preparations, has left few opportunities for blipping.
