My dad's procedure seems to have gone ok. They're keeping him in overnight but I think that's mainly because he didn't go down for his op until late afternoon. He should be coming out tomorrow.

Took my mind off things by going to the park to feed the birds. Saw a kingfisher on the river and a lady told me that she'd seen some deer in the park earlier that morning :-)
