2 up 2 down

As it was such a lovely evening I met R in Richmond for a drink and this is a street we walk down on our way home. These were all originally little 2 up 2 downs. For non Brits, they would originally have 2 rooms downstairs, a kitchen and front room, and 2 bedrooms upstairs with an outside loo. They now mostly have extensions at the back, an indoor bathroom and a converted basement. They are probably also worth £1m. The river is a hundred yards away and Richmond is beautiful.
