River of Flowers

Thursday: Red Wharf Bay

Sunny and warm weather until mid afternoon when heavy dark clouds arrived.
Picked up prescriptions then took the usual detour down to Red Wharf Bay, it was incredibly busy but I managed to find a parking space.
Got myself a latté from the café then walked along the spit looking at the wild plants ...
Extra photo of plants I spotted, from top left - Tree Mallow (lavatera arborea), fumitory (not sure which one), Thrift or Sea Pink (Armeria maritima), Medick (either black or coastal), Plantain (either Buck’s horn or Sea), not sure about the white flowers, the 2 yellow ones look like cabbage/kale family but I’m not sure - any suggestions would be very welcome!
Transplanted a few more seedlings this afternoon, it’s very hot and heavy ...
Very tired after all the sea air.
Goodnight all x
