Robin Bathing + Sandpiper

We visited Fort River again today. Here I took 106 shots of the robin  in continuous bursts over exactly 30 seconds, and this was the best;  the turned continually but mostly faced away.  I  got lucky with this one :)  The solitary sandpiper was at  quite a distance as we were leaving (as in the previous extra a week ago.)  The most notable bird otherwise was a Wilson's warbler--very uncommon here, at quite a distance and blurred in the best shot I got of him (definitely a male, with his little black cap--which we like to call a yarmulke :) The other day's event was major:  a visit to my oral surgeon, who inserted the pin for the implant of a new molar--a multi-year procedure which will extend at least another six months.
