Intrepid Adventurers

Ella & Harry out in the paddock, the seed head are very tall & showing a really lovely soft mauve colour.  We went out to play hide and seek - their Mum, Dad, Aunt & Uncle went out to Maungati to play 9 holes of golf this afternoon.

Its Christmas Eve, not really organised for tomorrow but it will all come together.  The forcast is for 29 deg so will be an outside dinner.

We are starting with a cooked breakie of bacon, hash browns, eggs cooked on the BBQ, accompanied with bubbles with a strawberry in the glass.

Then the dinner is an entree of little rissoles served with mint jelly followed by roast pork and a roll of stuffed lamb (also done in the BBQ), 2 salads, baby mint peas, trays of roast vegies and new season potatoes.
When we are up to it pavlovas, berries, ice cream and cream.
After dinner mints and christmas cake sometime....maybe if there is room.  The beers and wines are chilling.

I need to iron a couple of table cloths for the outside tables tonight.

The men have just come inside after putting a sign on the dirt to let Santa and his reindeers know that Ella & Harry are here......all in the name of Christmas.

I am sending our best wishes to you all for a wonderful Christmas shared with the ones you love, enjoy your day.

My best to you all

Rainie
