Ranunculus

Of the plants we bought over the Easter weekend, the ranunculus is not doing very well and so thought I should blip it before it dies back completely.  Maybe it's in the wrong place or maybe it's just finished flowering for the season.  It is such a pretty colour though.

Sadly, while I was in the garden, I came across a dead song thrush, just lying on her back on the patio.  She might be the one I blipped on 1st April.  I heard one singing beautifully at 4:30am this morning and just now, as I put her gently into some long grass, I heard another one - maybe her mate.  It really is too sad.
