A busy day in the office in both senses.  

While I beavered away on dull law stuff in my winter office (aka the dining room) the forces of order (Mr B and kids) were stripping my actual office bare.  Once I had vacuumed (I have given up pointing out that the only reason I do a better job is all the practice I get), Mr B set too with laying boards.  And ground to a halt when it turned out that the “simple – just click into place” option was anything but.  To everyone’s surprise, I was able to do it and, later, turned out that CarbBoy had the knack too.

While clearing up, before the floor laying, there was some tapping off of loose plaster.  Behind one such lump we found this ex-bat.
