Marsh Heron

This morning we drove a few miles to the Cape Cod National Seashore Visitor Center to hike.  We would have stayed longer, enjoying the marsh trail, but the sky darkened and sure enough .... more rain.  This Green Heron stayed with us for awhile, thinking he was getting out of harm's way, but he was actually going our direction.
