Summer weather

Up on the cliffs the sea pinks (Thrift) is in full flower and it's a picture!  There are also little clumps of blue squill and lots of yellow tormentil and bird's foot trefoil.  What with all the flowers, the sunshine and the birdsong, it was just perfect!  Terns, curlews and skylarks in abundance!

Lottie and I had a good walk, a little quiet sit and rest, then she had an off the lead bit of freedom for the way home down the old track.  I spotted a pheasant dust bathing - something I have never seen before.  See extra.

In other news, Mike brought Peridot round to the mooring outside the house for the summer.  No photo today, but it won't be long!
