Silly jigsaw

Friend Gill had great fun doing this Beryl Cook jigsaw when she was incapacitated following foot surgery last summer, so she has lent it to me.

I love the humour in Beryl Cook's paintings! They tend to feature buxom ladies of a certain vintage, often misbehaving, sometimes provocatively, wearing very little or even nothing - note the woman playing the cello! - and having great fun. Very silly!

I'm going to wait until I'm back in my own flat before starting the jigsaw because I just know for certain that Leo would find it too tempting to swipe little cardboard jigsaw pieces onto the floor!

Happy to be back in residence with Pookie, Minty and Leo :-)
