Day 138/19. Steaming into view.

The West Somerset Steam Railway is the longest heritage railway in the UK.
Today we made the 75 minute trip from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead pulled by this very impressive steam engine. The first 20 of this design emerged from Swindon Works in 1938. A further 10 were built by the Western Region, also at Swindon, in 1950 and this engine, 7828 'Odney Manor' was one of these.
The extra today shows the cab.
