Grounds at the Grand Hotel

The confluence of two of The Great Lakes, Lake Michigan and Lake Huron, share an island called Mackinac Island.
In 1896 the Grand Hotel was built on
this island. It was the late Victorian age, and this hotel was meant to be elegant. It is still elegant! Here you are looking down onto part of the grounds.
