Bathing Beauty

 A sculpt by Carla Rutgers-Hendriksen of a Bathing Beauty and she used the image of Hendrickje Stoffels that was painted of her by her man Rembrandt van Rijn ~ Hendrickje was Rembrandt's 3rd wife and the mother to their daughter Cornelia.
This sculpt is in a pond at Wassenaar, near Den Haag.

From sculptor Carla Rutgers I learned little on internet... a link with pix... she's of Dutch origin and born in 1944 and got her training in arts here in Den Haag at its Academy for Fine Arts... Anyway, I do like this Pièce d'Arts of her... perhaps you too?!
