Christmas is coming, the goose is being cooked...

...the rain that fell overnight and this morning was, fortunately, far less intense than on Saturday, so we were pleased to discover that no further flooding has occurred.

As there wasn't a lot of daylight left when the weather improved, we went for another beach walk from the cottage, this time to Port Eynon where we had a wonderful time collecting shells and checking out the rock pools. I captured several shots of the waves breaking over the rocks but it was this simple one of the water washing over the sand that most caught my interest.
