Tomorrow CyclopsJnr will be five!

Today was CyclopsJnr's birthday party.  He has been so very excited for such a long time and the day is finally here.

In the morning we had some low key playing, and he had his presents from Grandma.  He was thrilled to get a Lego Batman watch and a Lego police car which he made immediately, amongst other things.  This took us up to party time.

The party was held in the school sports hall and we had a giant inflatable assault course!  Oh my gosh it was ENORMOUS!!!  48 feet long.  We had 30 kids there (friends from his nursery class this year and last year, friends from the childminder, friends from swimming, and family friends) and they were happy to go round and round and round.  We also had a party tea and some party games.  Everyone left in one piece.  It was declared a success and CyclopsJnr loved it.  He loved handing party bags out at the end, too.

CyclopsJnr was so tired he had a bit of a nap then he opened the presents brought to the party. He got a great big pile of lovely thoughtful things.  Plenty of Lego but none the same, and some games and outdoor toys and a telescope!  Fantastic.

In the evening we went out for a meal with Grandma, Granny and Grandpa.  We went to Wildwood and the food was great,.

Home... to bed.

All exhausted!
