Back home

Left Euston this morning on the 11.30 train to Glasgow. Bit of a drag having a further 3+ hour journey to Oban though, though scenically it was wonderful. Many square miles of bluebells to be seen, and I'm not exaggerating! I was surprised to see so many hawthorns in flower too - thousands of trees in sight from the train. Interesting to see a variation in colour - pale and fairly deep pink too.

I've had a great time down south though, seeing friends and family. Didn't get to see all the members of my family, though almost all!

Up early tomorrow for a seaplane flight on Loch Lomond - a birthday present from Mrs M for my 70th birthday last July.
