Christmas Trees

Had to escape from the smell of bleach and Mr. Sheen earlier this afternoon so, under the guise of a pre-emptive trip to the local skip, took a drive around the Wee Wet County. Should maybe have took my wellies though (or one of those hover-boat things they have in the Florida everglades).

Wandered off along the River Devon just outside the hillfoots village of Alva. With the adjacent fields filled with water and numerous water fowl moving in its more like Loch Devon just now, though this field looks like it's drained since the worst of it, and the roads that were closed yesterday seem to all be passable again. Looks like it'll be a wet Christmas for many this year.

Came back to the much more pleasant smell of tomorrow's food preparations on the go, and now feeling like the Christmas spirit's flowing a bit more. Talking of which, hic, where's that bottle..?

Cherry Mistmas everyone.

Many thanks for all the comments and faves and stuff yesterday, goes to show you should never be without a camera, just in case you get lucky like that. Just about stemmed the nose bleed from being up there in the rarified air of the Spotlight page. Cheers all, thanks for the early Christmas present!
