Ribbons & baubles

A quick visit to my sister's today. As ever there stood her tree as it has every year for the past eleventy years and counting. She says she wants a real one every year but has yet to get around to it. Its decorations boast two baubles made by her fully grown boys when they were in scouts/cubs. Also on proud display was her kids three Christmas stockings (at least 15 years old) & a Christmas bear I bought her in 1987 from a shop in Edinburgh. There's such comfort in the familiar, surrounded by family.
